I have been making makeup and hair videos on youtube, and want to know, what are YOU interested in seeing on youtube regarding hair or makeup? I want to know what the viewers are interested in!

Makeup - the smokey rock and roll kinda look on the eyes and also maybe how to use mix different colors of eyeshadow that blend (Some people use the wrong colors, it's like OMG).
Hair - I'd personally love to know how to get that hmm front part of your hair up, all rock and rollish. :D

Most YouTube Gurus (i.e Juicystar07, Allthatglitters21) give advice to people to start with videos that a lot of people will be searching in the search bar, such as smokey eye tutorial, and make sure you keep making videos, and as soon as you start getting subscribers, it just keeps getting better. Also, try your best to include a little bit of everything; hauls, tutorials, reviews, etc. Finally, try to have good video quality, because if your video quality is bad, nobody will want to watch your videos.

What's the point of making those makeup tutorials on youtube?
I mean i love makeup..but i'm not literally obsessed with it like they are. i have 1 single brush. they have like entire cabinets of them. I really want to start making tutorials on my makeup on YouTube. All of my friends and sometimes people I don't even know (like at work) will compliment me on it.
This picture is just from earlier today when I just did a very simple everyday neutral brown. This is by no means the extent of what I can do.
Oh and I would use a lot of things that are easy to find and more affordable than some of the other youtubers.

Hey I love Taylor Swift's makeup! Can anybody tell me how to do her makeup i tried searching youtube + google
MAC pigment~ white gold
use a big brush to cover the eye lid, and the top so its all over covered, do that twice.
MAC pigment~ silver fog
use a smaller brush and apply that to the inner corner of the eye lid and just keep going across the eye
MAC pigment~ Dark soul
put it on the upper corner of your eye lid, on the outside just dab it in then blend it in
MAC powerpoint eyeliner~ engraved
obvi on ur lash lines
Black mascara

My requests are...curling your hair without a curling/flat iron (I mean something like...overnight, or something you can do after your shower) Umm...and request for cute hair styles for school! My only tips are, when you make your videos, try to sound more confident (I know you just begun, so it's okay), don't move/shake the camera too much, and try to film in a quiet area. It'll sound much better. Thanks! I subscribed! And umm..if you have a pashmina, could you do a video on different ways to wear it? :P

What are some good prizes and ideas for youtube makeup contests?
Hi I'm going to hold a contest pretty soon for my channel when I hit almost 100 subscribers and I know I should get makeup and tools and stuff but what are some other prizes that people would want.
It should all be beauty related but I want to stay on the cheaper side since I don't have alot of money to be spending.
also what are some good ideas for the contest. I was thinking 1950 inspired makeup like audrey Hepburn. what are some others.alot of the gurus have really creative ideas.

im a bargain makeup addict!! haha i reccommend giving away ...
1) L'Oreal Bare Naturel Mascara. It makes your lashes soft and doesnt flake/smudge.
2) Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Sptrizers LipGloss. I have the starwberry one, and it feels smooth and balmy, but does add a touch of color and shine. There are many shades so it will fit most skin tones.
3) Almay Clear complexion makeup. This foundation is good for preventing acne and clearing up what is already there. its not cakey or powdery, and gives a nice dewy finish. I highly reccomend it!
If you put them together, you can make a classy look, like you said.

Ummmm nailpolish is a good prize and really cheap. I mean who doesent like nail polish? lol You could also do stuff like headbands and little barettes.

Well you also called chi ';shee'; although you did correct yourself. It just makes you not sound like you know what you're talking about. I'm just trying to help you improve, because you don't sound professional in the least. And you say ';okay, um'; which drives me crazy.
I didn't, don't flatter yourself. You said the shee thing before the Garnier thing.
Videos are good
but the camera.. the way it keeps going all crazy at times.. thats not too good.
Also try playing with the lighting, make it whiter.
And, some drugstore products are actually VERY good.. the eyeshadow.

i suggest a different room with less orangy lighting.

try using before and after pictures at the end of ur videos

So, if any of you watch makeup guru's on Youtube you may of heard about Megan's Youtube account meganheartsmakeup had been deleted by Youtube. She was very well known and had like 6000 or 7000 subscribers on that account. She made a new account called meganheartsmakeup26 only a couple of days of go and already had over 1000 subscribers! But when I went to find it today, it had been deleted! I have heard that she deleted it herself.. Does anybody know any information on why shes deleted it?Meganheartsmakeup the Youtube makeup guru?
i haven't heard of the guru... but there have been previous cases where gurus delete their channel or stop making videos. it can be personal reasons, they can't be bothered anymore, they don't have time... and as any youtube personalities would face are threats and aggressive ';put down'; comments.
